NewGenerationSkills - First partners' meeting in the Kick-Off event

The NewGenerationSkills project started in Jan 2017 and its kick-off meeting was held on 28 February – 1 March 2017 in Budapest, hosted by the Lead Partner, Municipality of (District 11 of Budapest), Újbuda. The project’s launching event was organized and held linked to the kick-off meeting on 1 March in Budapest inviting national and international speakers.

The NewGenerationSkills project aims at supporting the youth unlocking their potentials for business and social innovation. The project will equip young people with new generation skills to help them starting their own business mainly in local level focusing preferebaly on social innovation. The partnership will work on reinforcing entrepreneurial culture and increasing innovation management capacities (as they are recognized as a key challenge in the Danube Region).

Full coverage of partnership participation was ensured in the interactive kick-off meeting where partners discussed the frames of common work procedures and shared the knowledge on the content of the project as well as administrative, management and financial issues clarifying the obligations and responsibilities in accordance with the timeline and sequence of actions.

The opening part of the meeting, attended by representative of the local media and press, included welcome speeches of the Lead Partner, by Mr László Molnár, vice-mayor of the Municipality of Újbuda and by Mrs Ilona Győrffyné Molnár, project leader.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At the launching conference participants got an insight into the background of the project from experts of the relevant field. Partners took part also in the launching event contributing with high level presentations introducing their institutions and role in the project.
