Public Institution Green Ring organised a meeting of various stakeholders with the aim to improve and/or initiate cooperation and exchange experiences in management of protected area Odransko polje. The meeting was held in Orle, on 12 April 2019 with representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Energy, Orle municipality, the city of Velika Gorica, Croatian Forests, Croatian Waters and hunting association „Patka“. During the meeting various measures and activities were presented which will be undertaken within SAVA Ties project in the area of Odransko polje. Presentation was followed by discussion on existing experiences within all represented sectors in the area of eradication of invasive plant species. The discussion was very fruitful and has resulted in the conclusion that invasive plants represent a significant environmental problem for all sectors and there is an interest for efficient intersectoral cooperation which will be further developed.
