JOINT TRANSANTIONAL EVENT FOR EXPERIENCE SHARING AND TRANSNATIONAL POLICY COORDINATION WORKSHOP

So, now we move across to visit our Slovak colleagues from the Technical University of Košice, located in the interesting and dynamic city of Košice, East Slovakia, a centre for business, commerce and industry.  Here we attended their Joint transnational event for Experience-sharing -Seminar and Transnational Policy Coordination Workshop located in the magnificent East Slovak Museum, later the 6th Steering Committee of the ATTRACTIVE DANUBE project, located at Hotel Yasmin.

Colleagues who attended encountered and took part in an array of different presentations and themes covered within the ATTRACTIVE DANUBE project and in other Interreg based initiatives and projects.  Guest speakers came from the Slovak Rep., Germany, Czech Rep., Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Serbia a real diverse mix of great people. 

 

Joint Transnational Event for Experience Sharing and Transnational Policy Coordination Workshop

Highlights included themes such as “Evidence-based planning across the Danube Region” and “Gathering evidence for better decision-making”.   Presentations included contributions from the Slovak Ministry of the Environment regarding INSPIRE, the Czech Ministry of the Environment and Local Agenda 21, the use of the CO-TAMP and N-TAMP ATTRACTIVE DANUBE indicator platforms by our Slovenian project lead and break-out and World-Café sessions, with some inspirational debates, comments, tips, knowledge and experience sharing.

To round off the successful workshop and seminar sessions the 6th SC Meeting took place at Hotel Yasmin, to discuss and finalise project business, tasks and priorities leading towards the close in June. Next stop, Final Conference, Slovenia, we can’t wait to meet you all there!
