Transdanube.Pearls - Mobility Information Center opened in the City of Vukovar

City of Vukovar opens its Regional Mobility Centre

After the thorough renovation and adaptation of its premises, project partner of Transdanube.Pearls, the City of Vukovar opened its Regional Mobility Centre to the public.

The City's Major and Vice-Mayor, Ivan Penava and Ivana Mujkić have attended the event and pointed out the great importance of this project for the City of Vukovar and willingness to continue cooperation with other Danube countries and cities on future tourism development.

Besides, providing mobility information and advices to tourists and locals, the mobility center will start renting bikes and e-bikes that were purchased in the project.

Right after the official opening of the Centre, the new service for bike transportation, i.e. transport of bikes using the bike carriage on the bus line Vukovar-Osijek-Vukovar, was presented to the public. The local bus company Čazmatrans Vukovar Ltd., as of today, starts performing this pilot activity and service which will be running for at least two weeks.

With these activities, the City of Vukovar has met the set criteria for becoming a Pearl and is pleased to continue and promote sustainable means of transport to their guests and local inhabitants, as a member of the future Transdanube.Pearls network!
