Danube S3 Cluster - Danube S3 Cluster project, present at the SmartAgriHubs and the IoF2020 conference

Danube S3 Cluster partner, ITC Murska Sobota, representing also Digital Innovation Hub AGRIFOOD (DIH AGRIFOOD), participated in the SmartAgriHubs and the IoF2020 conference that was held in Prague this March.

The representative of ITC and DIH AGRIFOOD manager, Daniel Copot held meetings with representatives of SEE Regional cluster and other regional organizations, mainly focusing on linking Digital Innovation Hubs for Agriculture at European level and regional level.

Danube S3Cluster project was presented as initiative that would impact the work of the SEE Regional cluster at the cross-fertilization level. ITC as DIH AGRIFOOD and partner in the Danube S3 Cluster project are namely providing the important connection between activities of the S3 cluster project and activities of these two projects. ITC also presented activities of the Digital Ecosystem Utilisation (CYSLOP) use-case where we want to translate data into customised services to trace production practices and achieve a more efficient use of resources as one of the vegetable farming technology trials in the EU.

SmartAgriHubs and IoF2020 are two European flagship projects in the domain of digital transformation in agriculture and food processing that has impact on Danube Area. The SmartAgriHubs project initiative is based on Regional Clusters acting as the intermediate connection between the regional DIHs and Innovation Experiments. South-East Europe Regional Cluster is mainly covering the Danube region, with PRO-AGRO from Romania Co-leading the cluster.
