A book launching event took place at the Galati Synagogue (Temple of Craftsmen) on 24th March 2019. The book "A History of the Jews in Galati – A Chronicle from the beginning to the Great Emigration" was published at the Hasefer Publishing House in Bucharest.

Authors: Lucian-Zeev Herşcovici and Violeta Ionescu. The book has two volumes and over a thousand pages.
