The Lead Partner of the project attended the  cosnultation workshop dedicated to the revision of the Action Plan for Danube region on 01.04.2019 in Stuttgart, Germany. This worskhop was organized by the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg,

At the last meeting of National Coordinators, on 15th February in Bucharest, the 14 member states of the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) paved the road towards the new Action plan for the Danube Region, endorsing the roadmap towards the new Action plan. Following 8 years of joint efforts for a more prosperous and cohesive common European space, the Danube Strategy faces a revision phase.

In each of the 14 Danube countries national consultations are currently  taking place. This presents a real bottom–up process. Until end of May 2019 the first draft of the new Action Plan will be finished. In June 2019 at the Annual Forum of EUSDR in Bucharest the Romanian Presidency of the Strategy will provide space for consultations and offer place for a broader exchange with stakeholder and civil society. Based on a series of consolidated inputs by all actors of the Strategy, the European Commission will use these inputs to draft the New Action Plan which prospectively will be endorsed by the Council of Ministers of the Danube Region in autumn 2019.

Over 90 participants from all over Baden-Württemberg  representing organisations and institutions and projects within Danube Transnational Programme took the chance to contribute to the revision of the new Action Plan as they bring a lot of experience and learnings from the activities done during the last 8 years of the programme.

Programme co-funded by European Union funds (ERDF, IPA, ENI)
