Following the welcome speech held by the vice-president of the General Assembly of Zala County, the mayor of Páka introduced Páka village and spoke about its tourist attractions and services.

As a good example Bernadett Horváth-Balogh, director of ”Gosztola Gyöngye” Spa and Adventure Hotel, introduced the success story of Gosztola village and their company starting from a small guest-house developing to a 4* hotel. She spoke about the basic principles of green tourism, the actual trends in tourism, and highlighted the opportunities both in Hungary and Lenti region.

Cecília Lohász, thematic expert, explained the aims of the strategy being prepared in the framework of INSiGHTS project, which were clarified and enlarged with the active participation of the stakeholders being present. Their suggestions and remarks will be included in the strategy.

Finally the participants visited the memorial house of József Öveges (famous Hungarian physicist) and the bunkers originated from the 1950s.
