The Serbian partner SEE ICT organized their 1st Regional Networking Meeting together with the 1st Regional Allliance Meeting on 8th of February 2019 in Belgrade.

The press conference started with the presenation of the Danube Energy+ projects and its idea, main goals and outputs.Key speaker from Technology Transfer Associate, Innovation Fund presented the current trends in the innovation ecosystem in Serbia and shared their experience in working with projects in energy fields. Representative of the School of Electrical Engeneering (University of Belgrade) presented the student team H-Bridges and shared their experience in supporting the young innovators. After the press conference the participants had the chance to network during the coffee break.

The Regional Allinace meeting started with the introducing the RA members to the scope of work and upcoming activities within the project as well as presentation of  the pre-final version of the Regional Mapping.RA members shorty presented themselves and their activities. RA members  gave their feedback to the Regional Mapping and had an active discussion about the current situation and challenges in supporting enterpreneurship in Serbia.

To highlight the importnace of such projects in boosting the potential of young innovators the Serbian partner invited 2 startups OnoBike and oDo Ride to give insights into their journey from a prototype to a sustainable business and talked about the challenges they faced to get that far.

The RA meeting wrapped up with the round table discussion on best practice in supporting young innovators in Serbia.
