13-03-2019

Danube Transnational Programme, organised a thematic seminar, focussing on three topics -  1) Water management-flood prevention and environmental risks, 2) Natural and cultural heritage and 3) Energy in Prague (CZ) on the 14th December 2018

3Smart coordinator Prof. dr.sc. Mario Vašak (Department of Control and Computer Engineering Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb), participated at the event as the invited expert in the Energy topic. Professor Vašak  talked about  needs and challenges of the energy sector in connection to the DTP SO 3.2. He also shared project development experience based on the preparation and implementation of  DTP project Smart Building – Smart Grid – Smart City (3Smart).

The aim of the thematic seminar was to provide additional content-wise support to applicants. It was a good opportunity to bring together stakeholders from these three fields in the Danube Region, thus providing opportunity to liaise, create potential partnerships, enhance knowledge, obtain new information on the topics from DTP perspective and potentially capitalize the existing projects between each other and with new arising ideas. The presentations can be found here and here.
