At the Festive Conference on the International Day of Older Persons on 1-2 October 2018, professionals of the health sector, social workers and economists joined in Budapest to discuss practice and possibilities of elderly care. Experts from Hungary and international speakers presented concepts to implement person-centered care. Furthermore, the event provided a platform to discuss the interdependencies between elderly care and socio-health policies. The INDEED project was presented by Professor Alexander Kurz
who gave an introduction to strategic planning in care focusing on how the INDEED activities may contribute to changing dementia care practice in Danubian countries.
