DA-SPACE - Meetings, trainings and team work within the second cycle of Croatian Open Innovation Lab

27-01-2019

The Croatian Open Innovation Lab's activities are in a full swing. After the kick-off meeting held in December, the regular meetings of the solvers and seekers have continued during December and January. On the 16th of January the first Review meeting with solvers has been held in which Mirena Tubić, the OIL manager at Juraj Dobrila University of Pula (UNIPU), with the support of Bojana Musulin of the Region of Istria, assessed the current situation and needs of the teams. The Croatian Open Innovation Lab (OIL) serves it's purpose - the equipment and the space has been often used by the participants in the second cycle.

Besides the everyday OIL activities, the Entrepreneurship training of the Croatian OIL has been active, both on the home grounds but as well as internationally within the project activity Staff exchange. Our experts and members of DA-SPACE project team at Juraj Dobrila University of Pula have visited Ulm in Germany and Sofia in Bulgaria. In Testfeld Open Innovation Lab in Ulm, assistant professor Dean Sinković, also a project manager, held a training session on the topic of Marketing while Sanja Radolović, Head of Research and Project Office and also a project coordinator, visited TUS Open Innovation Lab in Sofia, in which she presented the Project management.

The overall conclusion is that the current challenges have a great potential in both becoming co-creation projects but also getting a practical usage and efficacy, while the solvers are showing great interest and dedication in working with their mentors.

Juraj Dobrila University of Pula is a higher education institution, and the Region of Istria is a unit of regional self-government. Both are partners in DA-SPACE project.
