DA-SPACE - THE DA-SPACE STAFF EXCHANGE BETWEEN BULGARIAN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF SOFIA (TUS OI LAB) AND CROATIAN JURAJ DOBRILA UNIVERSITY OF PULA (UNIPU OI LAB)

The lecture took place on 18 January 2019 on which Sanja Radolović from the JDUP presented the topic “Project Management” to the members of the TUS solver teams at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The overall objectives of the mobility is to develop participants‘ competences in the fields of project integration management and Agile methodology, making them aware of the need to use of Burndown Charts to display daily progress, all together giving tremendous awareness about the state of the project.

The activities that were carried out were a presentation of the module “Project management” and holding a workshop related to the theme and specific challenges in TUS OI Lab.

 

The expected outcome is that on completion of this module, the participants to be able to:

  • define SMART objectives;
  • design the requirements traceability matrix (RTM) and work-breakdown structure (WBS) of a project;
  • set milestones to improve project management control;
  • schedule a project (Gantt chart) using MS Project or MS Excel;
  • analyze project cost management;
  • project quality management.

The Added value of the mobility is the needed expertise in local entrepreneurship training program of TUS Lab and also a deeper knowledge exchange in the field of entrepreneurship education.

The discussion also included the Institutional Framework for the Implementation of ESI Funds in Croatia and Bulgaria in the financing period 2014-2020, the EU funds themselves, co-financing assistance and pre-financing insurance, project idea and how to start it, the phases of a project and its features, time management and scope of a project, SWOT analysis and sustainability.
