The competition for the best technological innovation, which has been organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development for 14 years, has entered the very end. At the beginning of the competition, seven months ago, there were more than 116 teams, who competed for a prize fund of 5 million dinars. Finalists were placed in the top 6 finals. The finalists came from Belgrade (four teams), Stara Pazova and Nova Varos, they are:

BioTehTim, an innovation "Single-pass flow-through bioreactor",
Cluster "Dermanysus galinae", innovation "A mixture containing paraffin oil as an insecticidal and acaricidally active compound (P 547/17)",
Motimove, innovation "Motimove - Pacemaker for movements",
Optimonia, innovation "Condensation dryer with heat pump for fruits, vegetables and herbs",
Skrobikus, innovation "Innovative process of obtaining oxidized starch for making adhesive materials in the packaging and construction industry" and

Uvac, innovation "The specific structure of feeding of cattle in closed fodder with exclusive use of combined vegetable food"

Following the addition of the votes of the six-member jury with reviews, the title of the best technological innovation in Serbia for 2018, and the monetary prize of 1 million dinars, came to the innovation of Motimove, the team of the same team, consisting of: Dr. Lana Popović Maneski, Dr Dejan Popović and Ivan Topalović. It is an electronic muscle stimulant whose action can be defined by the "pacemaker for motion" synthamma. This product significantly improves and simplifies the use of Functional Electric Stimulation (FES) assisted exercise of functional movements during rehabilitation. Unlike existing products, this innovation includes a modular design, which includes: Module for stimulation, Control module, Multiplexer for matrix controls, Muscle fatigue unit and User interface.

One of the stakeholders of the EcoInn Danube „Dogama“ from Zrenjanin participated in the competition with its eco-innovative product and reached the semifinals.
