ATTRACTIVE DANUBE - SHORT REPORT ABOUT THE FIRST B&H CAPACITY BUILDING SEMINAR

The First B&H Capacity Building Seminar took place at the premises of the Federal Ministry of Physical Planning on 19th December 2018.

For the purpose of preparing The First B&H Capacity Building Seminar on the ATTRACTIVE DANUBE project a working group composed of Fuad Šumar, Hajrudin Srna and Nedim Mujić attended 6 working meetings with 7 following Institutions from the state and federal level:

  • Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Instutute for statistics of FB&H
  • Directorate for European Integration
  • Federal hydro meteorological agency
  • Federal institute for development programming
  • Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism

The seminar itself was attended by 23 participants from 13 different institutions (state, federal and cantonal levels). The B&H project working group presented the results of the ATTRACTIVE DANUBE project, internet platforms for monitoring territorial attractiveness indicators as well the specific indicators of territorial attractiveness for the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The second theme of the workshop was the "Memorandum of Understanding or Cooperation" that would enhance the cooperation of institutions at different levels or multi-sectoral level of government. The discussion on this issue was very positive with some minor corrections in the working document - Memorandum.
