The first public event „Energy Start-ups in the Danube Region” under project Danube Energy+ took place in Karlsruhe, Germany, on 24.10.2018. The event was organized by the lead partner InnoEnergy. Apart from the project partners, the event was attended by representatives of the target groups who got idea how they can benefit best from the project. Actors from the energy and innovation eco system presented good practices in motivating young entrepreneurs to provide business-oriented energy solutions and encouraged the cooperation between universities business and administration. Some of the topics of the presentations included: “How to build a regional energy entrepreneur ecosystem”, “Energy Entrepreneurs”, “Energy transformation and need for innovation”.  In order to foster partnerships between the different stakeholders in the project, the participants exchanged their contacts and will stay in touch throughout the three-year long project.
