26-11-2018

On the 19th of November 2018, a third CrowdStream training session took place as part of the SMARTUP Initiative initiated by the City of St. Pölten, Austria. On this occasion, the Townhall Square in St. Pölten was transformed into an “Innovation Mile”, where start-ups, SMEs, young entrepreneurs as well as education and research institutions pitched their ideas, products or services. Besides getting together and exchanging information as well as experience in an informal atmosphere, many participants also followed the invitation to take part in the “crowdfunding in a nutshell” course which was organised by the CrowdStream partner ConPlusUltra. A significant number of participants at the training session already had a concrete idea to be crowdfunded. Feedback received from several participants confirmed that a brief training session like this helps to gain important impulses how to further elaborate on the marketing approach, business plan as well as overall project and resource management in order to make crowdfunding campaign become successful.
