FORESDA - Only One Week until the First Joint Romanian-Hungarian Cluster Conference

15-11-2018

The first joint Romanian-Hungarian cluster conference will take place in Oradea (Romania) and Debrecen (Hungary). A three-day event (20.-22.11.2018) is a first European cluster event to be labeled under the EU “Cluster Week” initiative. It is co-organised by the Hungarian Ministry of Finance and the Romanian Cluster Association (CLUSTERO) supported by the INTERREG Europe Clusterix 2.0 Project. It will gather cluster experts and practitioners to a lively debate on relevant cluster topics such as sustainable business models, cluster support tools, the role of universities, the Y generation and the start-ups. A special focus will be put on innovative SMEs with dedicated sessions and a B2B/C2C brokerage event organized event.

The rationale behind the joint conference is to bridge the cluster success stories of 2 neighboring Eastern European countries which have followed different ways in reaching the same result - the establishment of a competitive and sustainable cluster landscape – in order to scale it up on the wider European perspective. The event enjoys the presence of eminent representatives of European organizations, national and international clusters, academia, companies, and renowned experts. In addition to the high scientific and informative character, the conference will also have a strong practical side facilitating bilateral business meetings between participating national and international companies and clusters via the brokerage event session conducted with the support of Enterprise Europe Network. The conference will be held in English, and the participation is free of charge.

Finally, FORESDA consortium is very proud to have partners from both countries on board. If you want to meet them, don't miss this opportunity because today is the last day to register for the participation on the conference (Registration available here).
