Regional Administration of Vidin organizes third regional workshop in the project Transdanube.Pearls

The third workshop on project “Transdanube.Pearls – Network for Sustainable Mobility along the Danube” was held on 16 October 2108 in the hall of Hotel Bononia.

The workshop served the purpose of presenting the finalized business plan for the regional  information center for mobility in Vidin. This document aims to identify the main paramters to be met by the Mobility Center adn to provide the steps for its creation. The main activity of the Mobility Center will be to provide information and advice on accessible and sustainable mobility for residents and visitors of Vidin region to promote alternative modes of transport instead of using private cars as a means of mobility.

During the meeting, the participants were also acquainted with the Transnational tourist package for mobility in tourism Kladovo - Vidin - Iron Gates, which was developed jointly with the Agency for Development of Eastern Serbia and the National Institute for Research and Development of Tourism of the Republic of Romania, both project partners of Transdanube.Pearls. The tourist product offers the opportunity for various exploratory activities within 6 days in 3 countries. "The region covered is rich in cultural and historical sites, natural phenomena and unique engineering facilities. Something that we can show only here thanks to our location" the Governor said in regard to the developed tourist package.
