CultPlatForm_21 - Survey on the Need of a Funding Scheme for Culture in the Danube Region
11-11-2018
The Danube Culture Platform Interreg (CultPlatForm_21) project carries out a survey on the need of a funding scheme for culture in the Danube Region. The aim is to collect knowledge and sense the need for a potential funding scheme for artists and culture institutions in the Danube Region.
The Danube Culture Platform follows a cultural-touristic approach with the aim of supporting and expanding cultural routes. Therefore, the European Institute for Cultural Routes is an important partner in this process. The project is on the way to discover hidden heritage and to convey historic places and events by means of contemporary arts and new technologies to an international audience. We are looking for response to manifold themes: the development of new destinations along the Danube (tourism), the interpretation of historic places and events in a contemporary way (culture), the experience of culture (international audience / tourists).
The main goal of the study is to create a model for a future small project fund for culture in the Danube region. This small project fund would strengthen cultural collaboration in the Danube region and would allow to initiate or implement more successful small scale activities. We are seeking for models of stabile future funding – most probably in a private public partnership. But first we would like to learn more about the precise needs and requirements of the cultural scene in the region. Under the following links you find two versions of the online survey.
Please choose the appropriate one for you, and just follow the instructions! It will take only a couple of minutes, but you will help us a lot to shape the small project fund according to the expectations of the scene. Moreover, please share the survey (landing page: www.danubeculture.eu) among others, so that we get a more accurate picture on the need of funding of culture in the Danube Region. Deadline for participation is December 15th, 2018.
Thank you very much for your cooperation!
