InnoHPC - REPORT - 4th Steering Committee Meeting and participation at the 7th Danube Annual Forum

4th Steering Committee Meeting with the partners of the InnoHPC project took place on 17th of October in Sofia, Bulgaria, and was organised by REGLO. At the meeting there were discussed the finished and ongoing Work Packages of the project. Additionally, alongside Daniela Chiran (Made in Danube project) and Tamara Valič (FIS Novo mesto), were co-ordinators of the Pole 1 Capitalisation Workshop in cooperation with PA 8. At the workshop participated representatives of Interreg DTP, PA 7 and PA 8; Pole leaders of Pole 2 and 3; and all project coordinators of Pole 1.

          


From 18th to 19th October partners from the InnoHPC project participated at the 7th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region which covered topics of particular importance for the Danube region related to preservation of cultural and historical heritage, new technologies and digitalization in tourism sector, ensuring safety and security in tourism, transport connectivity and mobility. Issues related to synergy and consistency between macro-regional strategies for achieving the common objectives of the EU and for the future of those strategies after 2020 were also be referred to. Two parallel thematic sessions on sustainable tourism mobility and security in public spaces and an open-air exhibition have been scheduled as well.
