The European Year of Cultural Heritage (EYCH) in 2018 helps to highlight how unique Europe’s cultural heritage is. It celebrates and promotes cultural heritage as a shared European resource that brings numerous economic benefits. Cultural heritage also has a remarkable social value. The aim is to encourage more people to discover and engage with Europe’s cultural traditions and to reinforce a sense of belonging to a common European space.

As a part of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, an EYCH label for activities, events and projects has been introduced and it’s an honour for us that the “Danube Culture Platform” has received this award. We are proud that our project is among this collection of successful initiatives which will be officially presented during the European Week of Regions and Cities 2018 in Brussels.
