As part of the workshop preparatory activities, project team of Croatian Forest Research Institute visited forest office Repaš. Mrs. Sonja Rukavina, expert for silviculture and seed production, joined us for a field visit to a poplar stand where we will exercise selection of plus trees during our workshop. We also visited nearby significant landscape Čambina, important for protection of riparian forests. One of the stops during the workshop will be Drnje nursery. There project partners will see and discuss production of Pedunculate Oak and poplar seedlings.
