DANUrB - CALL FOR PARTICIPATION // INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CAMP IN HUNGARY

20-06-2018

Dear professors and students,

We organise an international building camp in Esztergom (Hungary), in the frame of DANUrB program - with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics / Urban Planning and Design Department (BME), the Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre (KÉK) and Esztergom Municipality.

When?

It will take place from the 30th of June until the 8th of July. Check out our poster!
For the camp we invited 30 students from 5 countries: Austria, Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia - architect and landscape architect students.

What?

In the building camp the planning and building take place in international and interdisciplinary groups, through research, design and construction:

  • re-thinking of the city's tourist routes (walking, biking, sailing), then designing and building smaller public sign elements
  • consideration of the designated Danube part, design and construction of research-related public space installations, infrastructure or furniture
  • each group will have a planning / research task and than a building task

Check out the video from our last workshop!

How to apply?

You will find here a google form, please fill it if you want to register for the camp:

Places are limited! We can host only a few students of each (non-hungarian) university and we will close the registration when our lists are full.
