EcoInn Danube - Czech scientists will map pollutants in the air by satellites

15-06-2018

Czech scientists are going to map the pollutants in the air by the European satellites called Sentinel that are orbiting around the Earth.

Sentinel satellites are high-tech machines of the European Space Agency and they can measure what substances are entering in high levels of the atmosphere and how the pollutants move over the Earth. Czech scientists are going to compare it with data from local sensors located in cities and towns with the aim to find out the actual situation of the air much more closely than ever before.
