JOINTISZA - 6th PLASTIC Cup on Tisza river

15-06-2018

The waste pollution on river Tisza is a huge environmental problem! PET KUPA (The PLASTIC Cup), the non-profit, non-governmental initiative, was created to eliminate this problem. This environmental action contributes to clean river Tisza by organizing events, waste collection campaigns spanning several months, team-building activities, exhibitions and professional discussions throughout the year. Three main goals of the PET KUPA: conservation of living waters, water sports promotion (kayaking, canoeing) and community building.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary as JOINTISZA project partner, in cooperation with PET KUPA and under the patronage of EU Strategy for the Danube Region priority areas PA4 (water quality) & PA5 (environmental risks) assures first time an international PET boat called "JOINTISZA" during the VI.
