NETWORLD - New World War I (WWI) monument for fallen soldiers in Nové Hrady

The third day of the conference “Borders as a Result of War”, organized by the Rozmberk Society o.p.s. in close cooperation with the Town of Nove Hrady in Czech Republic, included  Unveiling ceremony for the new World War I (WWI) monument for fallen soldiers from the region. The monument was created as part of the NETWORLD project and opened officially by Mgr Vladimir Hokr, Mayor of the Town of Nove Hrady,  on Saturday 5th of May, 2018  in the presence of NETWORLD  project partners and  many representatives of  the local community.

WWI re-enactment group, including the Slovenian International Cultural Historical Society of General Borojevich”, took part in Displays on countries where Czech soldiers were fighting as well as in other ceremonies for laying wreaths and flowers on the monuments of the perished in the WWI.
