Made in Danube - Made in Danube goes abroad!

From 16th to 20th April 2018 Made in Danube was represented by project partner Slovak University of Agriculture (SUA) in Nitra at the second Rectors’ Symposium hosted by Louisiana State University Agricultural Center in Baton Rouge, LA and the Hungarian Embassy of the United States in Washington D.C.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The event addressed Rectors, University Management representatives and Transfer Centers and focused on case studiesthat show good practices of cooperation between academic institutions and public and private sector entities. The event was attended by nearly 30 representatives of partner universities and other institutions.

During the event, participants had the chance to learn about models of public-private partnerships and university collaborations with businesses and farm associations. In the presence of Hungarian ambassador László Szabó presentations and discussions highlighted the importance of global cooperation in the field of agriculture.

Made in Danube project partner SUA - represented by its rector Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD. and  assoc. prof. Danka Moravcikova, PhD -  presented the outputs of our project, aiming to intensify the interconnection of scientific institutions and increase the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises in the field of bioeconomy.
