On the April 2nd 2018 the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia announced a public call for technological innovation support programs - the Mini Grants program and Matching Grants program. 

The Mini Grants Program is aimed at private young enterprises which are engaged in the development of technological innovations with a clear market need.  This Program is designed to support the survival of companies during the critical phase of research and development and to allow the Serbian entrepreneurs to grow effective business capacities through which they will launch their innovations on the market.

The Matching Grants Program is designed for enterprises looking for significant financial resources for the commercialization of research and development. The Program has the goal to stimulate further knowledge-based development of innovative enterprises, encourage establishment of partnerships with international partners and to increase the number of technology-based companies.

Depending on the program, the innovative projects of the company are co-financed in the amount of 80 thousand to 300 thousand euros. In 2018, 400 million dinars were set for these two programs. Invitation to submit applications for financing innovative projects is open from April 2 to June 1, 2018 until 15:00.

During the public call, in April and May, the Fund will organize presentations and workshops of these two programs in municipalities and cities throughout Serbia. All the details of the program and conditions can be found on the web site of the Innovation Fund www.innovationfund.rs, via which the Applications should be submitted.
