DARLINGe - DARLINGe at the 9th Resource Classification Week of the UNECE-EGRC in Geneva

28-04-2018

The United Nations Framework Classification for Fossil Energy and Mineral Reserves and Resources (UNFC-2009) is a globally accepted and widely recognized classification scheme, which has been recently adapted to many commodities, also geothermal energy. The project leader of DARLINGe was the member of the international expert group that elaborated its Geothermal Specifications in 2016. DARLINGe will provide trainings to project partners on the application of UNFC-2009 and will deliver additional geothermal case studies from the Danube Region.

This ambitious goal was presented (http://dtp.interreg-danube.eu/uploads/media/approved_project_public/0001/16/e7178ba8d98bb5cf0747ed5f1d2aab9cdd68ea05.pdf)  and warmly welcome at the 9th Resource Classification Week of the UNECE-EGRC (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe - Expert Group on Resource Classification) in Geneva, April 23-27, 2018. With the pioneering application of this world-wide renowned method, DARLINGe results will move to a truly international arena and will serve as good examples also beyond the Danube Region.
