"In Slovakia, social innovators are not sufficiently professionally interconnected. This is a special situation, as the community is not that big, and the respondents themselves admit that they know each other.... In addition to distrust, one of the reasons for the low level of networking is a financial issue - the absence of institutional grants, so they do not have room for more intensive interconnection, which usually goes beyond the project and the organization's own activities."

A new survey "Let's move Slovakia!" has been published recently by Ashoka Slovakia, Green Foundation and Svatobor organization. It was aimed at mapping out the main barriers and obstacles encountered by people struggling to create and implement social innovation in Slovakia.
