The first workshop, organized by our project partner “Club Sustainable Development of Civil Society” (CSDCS) on the project Transdanube.Pearls took place in Ruse on 7 December 2017. It was organized in the Conference room of the Danube Рlaza hotel. Representatives from 4 municipalities (Ruse, Svishtov, Silistra and Tutrakan), existing cultural institutions and tourism units, academia and businesses participated in the workshop.

The project manager Prof. Lucia Illieva presented the project, the concept of the “Pearls” and the benefits for the Transdanube.Pearls. The participants discussed the ideas of sustainably tourism mobility, the “Sustainable Regional Tourism and Mobility Plan” (SRTMP), mobility and tourism information centers and their equipment. They all expressed their interest and support for the project activities.
