Learning by Doing - Project "Learning by Doing” presented at the Fair of Economy in Sarajevo

The Fair of Economy, Agriculture, Crafts and Consumer Goods, held this year in Sarajevo, the Skenderija Center, in the period from 14th to 16th December 2017, under the motto: "Domestic product in the service of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina", and gathered 212 exhibitors from all over B&H.
The exhibitors at the fair were economic subjects, economic associations, and the certain number of cantons and municipalities.
The Chamber of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, as a participant at the fair, promoted its activities and business services to numerous visitors.
The project “Learning by Doing - Targeted capacity building of VET partnerships in the Danube Region for the effective modernization of VET systems”. was also presented at the exhibition stand of the Chamber.
The visitors of the Chamber's stand were able to inform about the goals and main activities of the project, as well as to learn about the possibilities for cooperation with the Chamber in the field of work-based learning.
The project leader is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Budapest, while Chamber of Economy of Sarajevo Canton and the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Canton Sarajevo are one of the 24 partners in the project, which includes 14 countries in the region.
The “Learning by Doing” project is co-financed by European Union Funds (ERDF, IPA) under the Danube Transnational Programme with a total budget of EUR 2.3 million. The project started on 1st January 2017 and ends on 30th June 2019.
