SENSES - FIRST ROMANIAN STAKEHOLDER MEETING

08-12-2017

On 13th November 2017, South Muntenia Regional Development Agency (SMRDA) organized in Calarasi, Romania, their first stakeholder meeting within the SENSES project. Participants at the event were representatives of social enterprises, public administration and public institutions responsible for the SE sector. The purpose of the meeting was to present the project and the main activities. The representatives of social entrepreneurs presented their main activity and, some of them, highlighted their success factors, while others, problems that they are facing while running their company.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that there is a need for training for the managers of the companies employing people with disabilities since it seems that employers do not know how to set the tasks and employees often fail to understand or are unable to carry out their activities. Another issue raised was the ability of the entrepreneurs to support their businesses, many of them pointed out that they need support in order to be able to sustain their activity.
