SENSES - CONFERENCE ON SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN CROATIA

Minister of labour and pension system of the Republic of Croatia Marko Pavic opened the conference "Social Entrepreneurship in Croatia - Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" held in Zagreb on 14th November 14 2017. At the beginning, he addressed the audience with the words that a social entrepreneur is primarily an entrepreneur who makes his profits in social change. In their work, they turn to marginalized target groups, such as people with disabilities.

The Ministry of labour and pension system is responsible for the development of social entrepreneurship through the implementation of the "Strategy for the Development of Social Entrepreneurship in the Republic of Croatia for the period 2015-2020". The SENSES project and the upcoming activities of the project were presented at the conference as an example of good practice, and the audience was very interested in similarities and the differences in social enterprises and legal frameworks in the countries participating in the project.
