NETWORLD - Informational Meeting for Educators

An Informational Meeting for Educators was held on November 7th, 2017 in Varna, Bulgaria. It was organized by VEDA with the aim to present NETWORLD project and Danube Transnational Programme to directors, teachers and experts from educational and training institutions for formal and non-formal education. There were more than 40 attendees in the meeting who have showed increased interest to project activities, especially to the creation of a database and training materials related to WW1. Several participants expressed their willingness to include children and students from respective schools and kindergartens in interactive learning initiatives, games or competitions under the WP6 “Education and exchange”. Most of the participants shared that they have already participated in the program “Eco Schools” and the Bulgarian Blue Flag Movement , and find it useful to include students in initiatives and activities for non-formal learning.
