The next partner meeting in line was the Testing Workshop combined with the 5th partner meeting in October 2020. It was an unusual meeting since originally the Rediscover partnership was supposed to meet in Kotor, Montenegro, but due to the Covid pandemic, the whole meeting was held online. The main topic was the implementation of the pilots and the experiences from the process. Partners introduced the case studies, the methods, and tools implemented in their pilots according to the identified thematic routes on the first day and shared their experiences and best practices with each other, and discussed cross-adaptation opportunities the next day. The pandemic reshaped many ideas and plans, and the partnership moved onto IT solutions from exhibitions and festivals.

Stakeholders are involved via the implementation of Strategic Stakeholder Workshop in each partner city, supported by detailed guidelines, to jointly evaluate the local outputs/results of the project, and provide tailored input for cultural tourism development strategies and marketing action plans ensuring the durability of the implemented tools. After the workshop, conclusion reports were prepared by each partner, presenting and evaluating the local experience and findings of product implementation and testing processes. Conclusion reports provide key input for the Joint JCH Valorisation Handbook. The final workshop within the framework of this project will be held in Regensburg during the final partner meeting, its aim to evaluate the local/joint outputs, exchange and disseminate knowledge created. After the final workshop, you can read more about the topics and result in the DTP website: http://dtp.interreg-danube.eu/approved-projects/rediscover/news

Joint Visibility Strategy
During the final part of the project, the partnership focuses on the implementation and testing of instruments supporting the introduction and successful market entry of the products and services developed, thus sustaining cultural tourism in PP cities. Marketing is a crucial element of any tourism product development process, and is fundamental in order to ensure the products’ sustainability. Therefore, the purpose of the strategy is to provide applicable visibility methods and surfaces to the tourism products identified by the project partners. In order to ensure the sustainability of the achievements of the partnership, and also to serve the transferability of the results and experience of the project, a community-sourced Jewish cultural heritage Valorisation Handbook has been prepared as final activity of the project. The handbook reviews and evaluates the experience of REDISCOVER project: its activities and results. It provides guidance and advice for city administrations, local decision-makers, communities, tourism service providers and anyone interested in the discovery and making benefit of their own Jewish cultural heritage on how to develop new cultural products and services through the community involvement, how these products and services can be transferred to other locations, and how the tourism offer and international networking, based on the rediscovered cultural heritage, can be sustained and improved.
