Dear reader,

LP of the project hosted the 1st Steering committee meeting on September 28th and 29th. This time we were glad because the partners were able to meet, even, if only online.

On October 22, an Online kick-off event happened held by the School of Advanced Social Stuides, Nova Gorica  (SLO).

News and photo galleries are already published on official MELIA Obsevatory website. Please, share the link on different Social Media accounts as possible.

We would also like to mention that on the same day the 9th Annual Forum of EUSDR for the Danube Region took place Online.

the productive kick-off event 

 

The project’s online Kick-off Event held the participation of our project partners and different stakeholders, amounting almost one hundred participants together. In the opening video message took a speech the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia and then Dr. Klemen Miklavič, the Mayor of the Municipality Nova Gorica, expressed his pleasure to welcome a project on media literacy in Nova Gorica - a topic he considers highly important for the region. A selection of eminent speakers, guest, stakeholders and project partners participated – almost hundred people were attending online the kick-off event.

 9th Annual Forum of EUSDR

 
 

One of the most important events for the Danube Region strategy  - the 9th Annual Forum of EUSDR, took place on the 22th of October 2020. Each year, the event covered topics of particular importance for the Danube region related to preservation of cultural and historical heritage, new technologies and digitalization in tourism sector, ensuring safety and security in tourism, transport connectivity and mobility. The 9th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region held under the Croatian EUSDR Presidency on 22nd October 2020 focused on the ecological, economic and social aspects of sustainable regional development in the Danube Region.
