Connectgreen at the eu week of cities and regions

Dear ConnectGREEN partners, friends and collaborators,

The ConnectGREEN Team would like to cordially invite you to the event called “EU eco-corridors: a mountain to climb” to be organized on 13 October 2020 in the frame of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2020. The workshop held in an online format will take 1.5 hours, from 14:30 to 16:00 CET.

As part of Interreg’s 30th anniversary, the workshop will showcase examples of projects in different Interreg programs with impacts on Europe’s natural environment, with a focus on transnational ecological corridors in the Alpine, Carpathian and Adriatic-Ionian regions. Among them, ConnectGREEN, SaveGREEN and TRANSGREEN will be presented.

The workshop will highlight common objectives across mountainous areas in Europe, will give answers to needs and challenges that cannot be tackled within national borders, and explain the benefits for EU programs and policy implementation.

Please find the programme of the workshop HERE.

Registration for the event will be opened until 7 October. Kindly note that registering for the workshop will require creating an EU login account. More information about the registration is available HERE.

Looking forward to “meeting” you during the workshop!

ConnectGREEN Team
