2019 main activities and milestones
2019 has been a remarkable year full of success for the Danube Transnational Programme (DTP). It was a busy time, full of amazing events, innovative ideas and challenges. And for the next year, we hope to face some new ones with you! Check below some 2019 milestones for the DTP.
The first step of the 3d call for proposals received 276 submissions with projects involving 2853 institutions from the Danube region. In its last meeting held in Chisinau, the DTP Monitoring Committee decided on the 61 projects to be invited to submit a full application for the second step of the 3rd call. The final assessment is still running.
As in previous years, the DTP was one of the co- organisers of the 8th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region(EUSDR), along with the Romanian Presidency and the European Commission. The forum was held in Bucharest (27-28/06) and the DTP organised 3 main activities: a plenary session under the name ''Present and future role of the Danube Transnational Programme in the Danube region” to explain the main achievements at programme and project level; a side event on the DTP Capitalisation Strategy; and two stands in the exhibition area for the programme and its projects.
On March, the DTP organised in Budapest a joint meeting for the Thematic Pole Leaders and EUSDR Priority Area Coordinators to discuss where the DTP Capitalisation Strategy process is heading to, reflect on its future and prepare the side event on Capitalisation to be organised during the EUSDR Forum in Bucharest.
After the project website and photo competitions of previous years, the DTP organised a Video Competition. Check here the amazing project videos winners of the competition!
