One of the results of the REFOCuS project is development of forest management and nature conservation guidelines. However, it would be impossible without our stakeholders and their inputs. The stakeholder survey targeting foresters and private forest owners, nature conservationists, hunters, visitors/tourists or residents is now available in six languages - English, German, Slovenian, Hungarian, Croatian and Serbian.
We appreciate your time and efforts!
Third project meeting and two stakeholder events in Vienna

Two stakeholder events and the project meeting took place between 15th and 17th of October 2019 in Vienna. These were organised and hosted by the Austrian Research Centre for Forests (BFW). During project meeting partners presented their efforts and activities done so far, as well as activities planned in the next project period. One stakeholder workshop targeted identification of silviculture and conservation management objectives in the Biosphere Reserve Mura-Drava-Danube with wonderful discussions in the imperial Eckartsau hunting lodge and during field visit of the National Park Donau-Auen. The other workshop looked for best practices for conservation and sustainable use of forest genetic resources. We had such a lovely time and learnt a lot from our hosts, stakeholders and from each other. Big thank you to all participants!
