FIFTY ENTREPRENEURS LEARNED ABOUT DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION PROCESS IN TICM

Although the last DIGITRANS workshop attracted somewhat smaller number of entrepreneurs, the discussion quality and the final results were satisfying and met the expectations of the moderator and the project team.

As a part of the project Digital transformation of the Danube region DIGITRANS, seven regional incubation centres were established in the seven partner regions. In Croatia, one was established in Technology innovation centre Međimurje TICM. Among other tasks, regional incubation centres are responsible for organising Blended learning trainings being carried out in three phases: face to face trainings, online consultations and individual workshops.

The last face2face training in TICM, called „Digital business model development using DIGITRANS method“ was held on 26th April 2019. The participants worked on their own example, analysing the existing business model and developing a new one using DIGITRANS method tools and materials, under the guidance from Goran Levačić, an experienced moderator and one of the DIGITRANS method creators.

This workshops are always interactive and dynamic, but were even more so this time due to small group of entrepreneurs attending. So rather than just receiving knowledge, participants had the time and space to talk about their specific business situation, ask questions and give their feedback.

This was the 10th and the last workshop organized by TICM under DIGITRANS project. Although digital transformation is currently a topic wide spread and an inevitable process for the business community, getting entrepreneurs to participate in the workshops was sometimes very challenging. The purpose of these workshops was to offer knowledge to entrepreneurs neccessary for them to get activley involved in the digital transformation process and use contemporary information and communication technologies for business model improvement.

After ten face2face trainings were successfully organized, with around fifty participants from small and medium enterprises and the positive feedback we got from the participants we can say our work and efforts resulted in success.

DIGITRANS team invites everbody who is in any way interested in digital transformation to visit Digitrans.me platform where they can find various tools and materials on digital transformation process and to join our DIGITRANS.me community on LinkedIn. Digitrans.me community gathers entrepreneurs, digital transformation moderators and consultants and everybody who is in any way involved or interested in digital transformation.
