Dear readers,
the conclusion of the pilot activities in CAMARO-D project is in sight: in order to sum up the lessons learnt and share know-how about measures and practices gained during the project-work so far, 3 cluster specific training sessions will be held in the pilot areas in the upcoming months:
- "Groundwater field Steyr", AT on 13/11/2018
- "Iška river", SI on 15/10/2018
- "Black River", RO on 07-08/11/2018
The sessions are a great opportunity for both stakeholders and experts to gain insight into the project, below you will find more detailed information.

Cluster 01 - Steyr, AT
|
|
|
|

This training-session will focus on target-oriented silviculture, grassland management and agriculture for a sustainable groundwater protection. The workshop will be held in English with simultaneous translation into English and it will take place in Steyr on November 13th, 2018.
In the afternoon, best practices will be demonstrated and discussed during a field trip to the pilot area.

Cluster 02 - IG, SI
|
|
|
|

This training session will focus on the land use and vegetation cover along torrential rivers: erosion, floods, soil compaction, surface runoff, invasive plant species and water pollution and is organized by the University of Ljubljana. The workshop will be held in English and it will take place in Ig on October 15th, 2018.
In the afternoon, an excursion to the Iška river (pilot area) is organized.

Cluster 03 - covasna, RO
|
|
|
|
Flooded areas in the Black River Basin (copyright: Environmental Protection Agency Covasna)
This training session will focus on land use and vegetation cover along the Black River - erosion, floods, soil compaction, surface runoff, invasive plant species, water pollution and beaver management and is organized by the Environmental Protection Agency Covasna, together with the National Meteorological Administration of Romania. It will take place in Covasna city between November 7th and 8th, 2018. A shuttle service from Bucharest is provided.
On day 02, an excursion to the Black River hydrographic basin will take place.
