Thematic Pole 9 - Educational Governance
The Thematic Pole 9 on educational governance is made up of four projects contributing to the specific objective “SO 4.1 Improve institutional capacities to tackle major societal challenges” of the Danube Transnational Programme. EUSDR Priority Areas 7 (Knowledge Society) and 9 (People and Skills) are also directly involved in the work of the pole. Furthermore, the pole cooperates regularly with Priority Areas 8 (Competitiveness of Enterprises) and 10 (Institutional Capacity & Cooperation) of the EUSDR; projects from other poles and further associated projects and initiatives inside and outside the Danube Region.
Our activities revolve around two thematic working groups:
- creating a shift towards more demand-driven and labour relevant education schemes
- developing blended learning tools for designing and implementing new educational governance models for institutional learning
