Nóra's input as an Interreg Reporter

I’m Nóra, the second Interreg Reporter deployed to the Danube Transnational Programme, and I’m really excited to be a part of this team until the end of this year. On this page, you’ll find all the outputs I produced in the framework of IVY.

DTP project interviews

  • D-STIR

Together with Manon, the first Interreg reporter at the DTP, we joined D-STIR project representatives Miklós Lukovics and Erik Fisher in Budapest to discuss responsible research and innovation. Watch the video for more!

  • RARE

This time we travelled to the South-West of Hungary to meet RARE project representatives, who stand for integrating Roma people as a human resource. We had the chance to visit a local example of a successful integration in Gyulaj, and talked to several people on our way from the mayor to the employees of a factory. The video is coming soon!

  • Transdanube.Pearls

An enthusiastic team of four embarked upon a journey all along the Danube - an amazing adventure I could be a part of for 2 days, and discuss with Transdanube.Pearls project representatives the importance of sustainable mobility! Watch the video here!

Conferences

I feel extremely lucky, as so far I had the chance to participate in several conferences either as an organiser from the DTP, or as a participant representing my host institution and IVY at the same time. While as an organiser I was busy with helping colleagues to make sure the event is a success, as a participant sent by the IVY, I took part in the preparation and follow-up phase of some workshops, with a tangible output.

  • European Week of Regions and Cities

The EWRC is an annual Brussels-based event organized by the Committee of Regions and DG REGIO, where stakeholders can discuss and exchange best practices concerning regional and urban development. Furthermore, the event is a platform for political communication about the EU's Cohesion Policy.
This year I was identified as a volunteer to be involved in the organisation of the workshop "Digital government - promoting prosperity for all", where I could contribute to the preparation of the workshop, and as my main task, to the follow-up activities by preparing the report of the workshop together with the organisers. The report will be available December 2017.

  • EuropCom

The European Public Communication Conference is the annual meeting point for communication managers and senior experts from local, regional, national and European authorities. During this two day event, public communication professionals gather together to discuss how to improve public communication and raise awareness of the EU policies.

My task at the event will be to attend four workshops (one in each time slot), take notes and after the event prepare the workshop report together with another volunteer.

Other

  • European Cooperation Day 2017

The European Cooperation Day is celebrated 21st September and the surrounding days every year, aiming at showcasing successful project results and promoting the importance of territorial cooperation. To join the celebration, I prepared a photo montage of colleagues sharing their thoughts on what is essential to a successful cooperation. Click on the picture for the entire album!

  • ETE newsletter

The Hungarian National Contact Point of the DTP is issuing a regular newsletter about European Territorial Cooperation Programmes involving Hungary. In the October 2017 issue of the newsletter I wrote and article about the Interreg Volunteer Youth, in order to inform both potential volunteers and host institutions about the initiative - click to read the full newsletter (available only in Hungarian)!

  • Giornale Ué - la voce dell'Europa

The Italian magazine collaborates with a student association called European Generation, full youngsters committed to European issues. One of these students, Sofia Santarsiero prepared an interview with Manon, the first DTP IVY Reporter and me about our experience and motives to join the initiative. Read the article here
