Manon's input as an Interreg Reporter
This section will contain outputs produced in the framework of IVY during my 6 months volunteering experience in the DTP.
For those who haven't heard about my adventure in Budapest yet, you can find here a video produced by the European Commission and released end of May.
When shooting this video, I also took the opportunity to meet with Miklós Lukovics & Béla Kézy, from CityWalk. Throughout the interview and our lively debates, they gave me a better insight into the problem cities are facing: today, cars demand an increasing amount of space and thus crunch sidewalks, and public and green spaces away from citizens, engendering harmful consequences on the social, environment, public health, and economic well-being of cities.
Following our discussions, I published a report and a short video highlighhting how CityWalk is contributing to enhance the Danube Region as a better place to live.

Page 46 of this Panorama Magazine we will also find an article about my motivations to join the European Solidarity Corps and to promote transnational cooperation.
While reflecting upon how we could promote European Territorial Cooperation results towards local citizens, I came up with the idea to make several other videos focused on different approved DTP projects. Transnational cooperation indeed prepares the ground for long-lasting and comprehensive projects, in a sustainable perspective. It helps solve joint problems, by enriching perspectives on best practices and lessons learnt in other countries. And successful projects in the Danube region are very much aware of these benefits, as they rightly pointed out each time Gergő -the camerman from Eco Logical Films- and I went to interview them!

Together with Nóra, the second Interreg Reporter that joined the DTP beginning of July, we had the opportunity to meet an external consultant visiting the D-STIR project. Erik Fisher, developer of the STIR (Socio-Technical Integration Research) method, spent some days in Budapest as well and happily explained his motives and goals related to the project. Manon also took part in an interview with Nonprofit Xarxanetorg, and she explained her motives and experiences as an Interreg Reporter at the DTP. Read the article here!
