Danube S3 Cluster - Successful events, organized within Danube S3 Cluster project

On 18th November 2020 Business Support Centre for Small and Medium Enterprises – Ruse, Bulgaria organised and convened two online events that were part of the activities of Danube S3 Cluster project.
The first event - the Innovation Forum in the Agro-Food field took place between 09:00 – 13:10 EET and consisted of two panels.
Panel 1: The innovation landscape and the Agro-Food sector in the Danube region
This panel included six presentations:
- Danube S3 Cluster project
- Innovative approaches to control safety of agricultural products
- Precision beekeeping and sustainable agriculture
- Science and agriculture
- Balkan Network of Ideas for Sustainable Innovation in the Agri food Sector
- Digitalization potential for mid sized agro businesses
Panel 2: Policies for Clusters in the Danube region, in the field of Agro-food sector, as priority in RIS and European Funding Schemes included five presentations.
- Advisory support by NAAS for agriculture and rural development in Bulgaria
- ARC Fund Group Flagship For Entrepreneurial Discovery
- The Bulgarian Romanian Business Relations and SMEs Cross border Opportunities
- Opportunities of cross border cooperation through EU Projects
- Danube S3 Cluster Strategy
93 participants registered for the Innovation Forum and many followed the live streaming on the project’s facebook page Danube S3 Cluster.
The second event - the virtual brokerage b2b matchmaking in the field of Agro-Food took place between 13:30-18:00 EET. There were 85 attendees registered for the matchmaking event and 25 scheduled and accepted meetings.
