The DANUrB+ partnership consists of 19 partners (17 ERDF and 2 IPA) and 23 associated strategic partners from 6 countries: Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, and Serbia. 10 consortium partners were already part of the DANUrB project including the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (HU) acting again as lead partner.

Various types of organizations joined their forces and experiences to achieve the DANUrB+ objectives. Five universities from different countries are participating in the spatial tourism planning and research. Professional tourism organizations are collaborating with educational institutions in providing knowledge about tourism clusters and economy, whereas other NGOs are managing activities involving local stakeholders aimed at initiating heritage revitalization projects.
