JOINTISZA - Project Kick-Off Meeting: Outcomes and Press Release

Please find attached here a press release related to the outcomes of the Kick-off Meeting and First Stakeholder Event of the JOINTISZA Project (Strengthening Cooperation between River Basin Management Planning and Flood Risk Prevention to Enhance the Status of Waters of the Tisza River Basin), which took place on March 1–2, 2017, at the Conference Center of the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC).

The JOINTISZA Project draws together 17 partners across five countries sharing the Tisza River Basin (Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Ukraine) to identify solutions for common challenges identified within the basin. The project is co-funded by European Union funds (ERDF, IPA) and it is implemented through the Danube Transnational Programme (DTP) under the umbrella of Interreg Europe.
