CHESTNUT - Project partners held a meeting in Prague

The Chestnut project partners held a meeting at Townhall City Hall at The Municipal District Prague 9. They discussed on what has been done so far and what has been achieved, as well about the next tasks in all work packages.

The meeting started on October 11, 2017 in the Municipality of Prague 9. The meeting started with opening speech which was led by Zdeněk Davídek and Pavel Pospíšek. Then continued Gianluca Sarti and he mentioned a short summarization. After the opening speech and official greeting the meeting continued with a brief summary of the financial situation. Then the agenda of the meeting passed beyond the expected certificates from partners. There was a deep discussion over the individual problems of overcoming or under-utilization.

Then the meeting continued with workshops which were focused on management and communication activities.

After workshop activities was held a meeting of members of steering committee.

After the lunch visited all partners a study tour and they saw a sample of a good practice – Prosek Children’s Playground. Partners had the opportunity to hear a short lecture which was held by staff of DDH and BESIP. After this followed questions and answers regarding to mobility in Prague 9.

The second day of project meeting started with SUMP agenda (Stability Plan for Urban Mobility). Attendants were divided into parallel groups. Groups of attendants were solving practical questions, examples and tasks. This part was led by Technical University of Vienna (as a partner who is responsible for SUMP). The meeting continued in the afternoon with a presentation which was held by Martin Dan from the Slovenian PBN. Martin was talking about WP3 International strategy. The block of lectures was finished by Barbara Kulmer from Weiz - Austria with Presentations on Pilot Actions (WP5).
